there's something about the Christmas season - particularly the story that it celebrates - that creates a type of calm in me. a peace in the midst of chaos.
i started laying down some music, not knowing where it was going. before long, i began humming "Go Tell it on the Mountain" and later, "Hark the Herald Angels Sing".
i like the idea of these two songs juxtaposed - humans and angels together, raising their voices for the birth of a king.
